There was a story in the paper today about West Olive woman injured in a Grand Haven Township car accident on Friday, November 20, in Ottawa County. According to police, the West Olive woman was driving her Honda Accord on US-31 when she was allegedly hit a 2004 Dodge pick-up truck, driven by a Grand Haven Township man, that had failed to stop at the intersection of Ferris Street. She was transported to North Ottawa Community Hospital before being transported to Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids for treatment of her serious injuries. Police are still investigating the accident.

There was a tragic story in the paper today about two fatalities in an Oakfield Township car accident on November 16 in Kent County. According to the police, a 52-year old Cedar Springs woman allegedly, without proper passing distance, tried to pass another car, with a 58-year-old Rockford woman driving and four passengers, on M-57 when both vehicles collided with a pick-up truck. Both the Rockford woman and the Cedar Springs woman were killed in the accident. The other passengers in the Rockford woman’s car, including two toddlers, were seriously injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police are still investigating the accident.

There was a story in the paper today about a man seriously hurt in a Grand Rapids head-on collision accident on October 28th in Kent County. According to the Grand Rapids police, a black Chevy Blazer , driven by a 24-year-old man, was traveling west on Washington Street, near 32nd Street, when it allegedly crossed the center line and struck a green Mercury Sable traveling east, driven by a 20-year-old man. Both drivers were transported to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Mansfield for their serious injuries. Police continue to investigate this accident.

There was a story on television today about a man and woman injured in Grand Rapids Car Accident on Sunday, November 8th at Carlton Avenue and Lake Drive. According to the Grand Rapids police, a male driver and his female passenger were driving south on Carlton when the driver allegedly experienced a medical condition causing him to allegedly lose control of his vehicle and crash into a building. The driver and his passenger were taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Police are still investigating this accident.

There was a tragic story on the news yesterday about a fatal Williamsburg pedestrian accident on Halloween in Grand Traverse County. According to the police, a passenger car allegedly hit a pedestrian as he tried to cross M-72, at the entrance to the Turtle Creek Casino. The pedestrian was taken to Munson Medical Center where he was pronounced dead from his serious injuries. Police are still investigating this accident.
