There was a story in the paper today two drivers seriously injured in a Paw Paw Township head-on car accident on February 13th in Berrien County. According to the police, a 40-year-old Grand Junction man in a Dodge Durango was driving southbound on 41 st Street when he allegedly crossed the center-line and collided head-on with Chevy pick-up truck, driven by a 21-year-old Paw Paw Man. Both drivers were transported to Bronson Hospital for treatment of their serious injuries. Police are still investigating this accident.

There was a story in the paper today about passenger killed in a fatal I-96 roll-over car accident in Lowell Township on February 6th in Kent County. According to the Michigan State Police, four people in a Nissan Pathfinder were traveling on I-96 when they were allegedly sideswiped by Chevy Blazer, driven by 17-year-old West Olive teen, causing the Pathfinder to veer off the road and roll. One of the passengers, a Grand Rapids man, died on the scene. The Pathfinder driver and two other passengers sustained serious injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police are still investigating this accident.

There was a tragic story in the paper today about a man seriously injured in a fatal Georgetown Township car accident on January 12th in Ottawa County. According to the Ottawa County Sheriff, an 18-year-old Jenison teen was driving his vehicle on Port Sheldon Road, at Brook Field, when he allegedly crossed the center line and collided head on with a Nissan pick-up truck, driven by a 46-year-old Hudsonville man. The Hudsonville man suffered serious injuries to his leg and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The teen did not survive the crash. Police are still investigating this accident.

Both drivers were taken to Spectrum Health for treatment of their serious injuries. Police are still investigating the accident.

According to the Michigan State Police, the councilman was allegedly tailgating a car on East Bridge Street, driven by a 70-year-old man, that had hit his car earlier. The council man pulled in front of the 80-year-old man’s vehicle then got out of his car to confront him, allegedly due to suspected road rage. The 70-year-old man allegedly tried turning his vehicle around to avoid confrontation and hit the councilman. The councilman was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his serious injuries. Police are still investigating the accident.
