Fatal Georgetown Township Car Accident

There was a tragic story in the paper today about a man seriously injured in a fatal Georgetown Township car accident on January 12th in Ottawa County. According to the Ottawa County Sheriff, an 18-year-old Jenison teen was driving his vehicle on Port Sheldon Road, at Brook Field, when he allegedly crossed the center line and collided head on with a Nissan pick-up truck, driven by a 46-year-old Hudsonville man. The Hudsonville man suffered serious injuries to his leg and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The teen did not survive the crash. Police are still investigating this accident.

I am very sorry to hear about this accident and hope the injured Hudsonville man has a complete and full recovery from their serious injuries. My most sincere condolences to the faily of the teen for their loss.
