Fatal I-96 Roll-over Car Accident in Lowell Township
There was a story in the paper today about passenger killed in a fatal I-96 roll-over car accident in Lowell Township on February 6th in Kent County. According to the Michigan State Police, four people in a Nissan Pathfinder were traveling on I-96 when they were allegedly sideswiped by Chevy Blazer, driven by 17-year-old West Olive teen, causing the Pathfinder to veer off the road and roll. One of the passengers, a Grand Rapids man, died on the scene. The Pathfinder driver and two other passengers sustained serious injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police are still investigating this accident.
I am very sorry to hear about this tragic accident and offer the family of the deceased passenger my most sincere condolences and best wishes. I hope the injured driver and other passengers have a full and complete recovery without any permanent deficits.
