Grand Rapids Car Accident Injures Five People

Our Grand Rapids car accident lawyersare reporting a recent story in the news about an auto accident that took place on M-82 at Luce Ave in Garfield Township.  According to police, a vehicle speeding more than 90mp on M-82 collided with another vehicle that held a driver and three passengers.  The driver of the speeding vehicle is believed to be an arson suspect.  The arson suspect suffers injuries and is hospitalized at Spectrum Health hospital in Grand Rapids. All four occupants in the other vehicle were also taken to the hospital for injuries suffered.  The alleged arson and the Grand Rapids auto accident remain under investigation by the State Police.

I am very sorry to hear about this accident. I hope the injured victims have a fast recovery without any permanent damages.

Our car accident lawyers in Grand Rapids advise victims of their legal rights. The injured individuals can submit a claim for Michigan No-Fault benefits.  No Faul benefits will cover their medical expenses, lost wages, attendant care, replacement services, and other benefits related to injuries suffered in the accident. The injured victim can claim these benefits even if they did not have a Michigan automobile insurance policy and are at fault.

The four injured occupants may also have a claim for personal injuries against the other driver if determined to be at fault. The insurance company for the negligent driver typically pays a settlement for this type of case.
