According to the Muskegon County Sheriff, five people in a Chevy pick-up truck were travelling on Oak Road, between River and Ewing Roads, when the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road into a stand of trees. The driver and passengers all suffered serious injuries and were taken to different local hospitals. The accident is still under investigation and police believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
