Fatal Car Crash in Paw Paw

There was a story on the news today about a tragic fatal car crash in Paw Paw last week. According to the Van Buren County Sheriff’s office, 37-year-old Keith Rapp was driving his Blazer on Red Arrow Highway when he allegedly crossed the center-line and collided with a Ford Ranger, driven by 23-year-old Jeff Haas. Haas died at the scene and Rapp died over the weekend. However, witnesses to the accident report that a Paw Paw police cruiser responding to the crash rear-ended Haas’ Ranger and its not clear which collision killed Haas. Police are continuing to investigate the accident.

I am very sorry to hear about this tragic accident and wish the family of Jeff Haas my most sincerest condolences for their loss. I offer my most sincerest condolences to the family of Keith Rapp for their loss as well.
