Saugatuck Roll-over Accident

I saw a story on the news about a Saugatuck Roll-over Accident that occurred yesterday. According to the Michigan State Police, an SUV allegedly rolled over on I-196 in Saugatuck causing serious injuries to the vehicle’s passengers. The highway had to be closed down while an unidentified number of passengers were air lifted for medical treatment. The cause of the crash is unknown and is still under investigation at this time.

Fatal Kent County Drunk Driving Accident

An 80-year-old Walker man was killed in a Fatal Kent County Drunk Driving Accident in Walker on Friday Night. According to Walker Police, the Walker man was killed when his vehicle was allegedly struck by a car that crossed over the center line on Wilson Avenue, between Butterworth and Burton.

The 80-year-old man was rushed to Spectrum Butterworth with serious injuries where he later died. According to police, alcohol is suspected in the accident and the driver that crossed the center line was allegedly arrested on those grounds. The crash remain under investigation at this time.

Kent County Fatal Rollover Accident

I read a tragic story about a Kent County Fatal Rollover Accident in Alpine Township on Sunday afternoon. According to the Michigan State Police, a Rockford woman was driving near the intersection of Alpine Avenue and Lamoreaux when her car was allegedly hit by another car driven by a 19-year-old woman. The Rockford woman lost control of her car, rode up the guide wire of a power pole and landed on its roof.

She was extricated from the car and taken to the hospital with serious injuries where she was pronounced dead. The Rockford woman’s mother was a passenger in the car but only suffered minor injuries. Police Continue to investigate the accident.
