Grand Haven Township Car Accident

There was a story in the paper today about West Olive woman injured in a Grand Haven Township car accident on Friday, November 20, in Ottawa County. According to police, the West Olive woman was driving her Honda Accord on US-31 when she was allegedly hit a 2004 Dodge pick-up truck, driven by a Grand Haven Township man, that had failed to stop at the intersection of Ferris Street. She was transported to North Ottawa Community Hospital before being transported to Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids for treatment of her serious injuries. Police are still investigating the accident.

Kent County Car Accident

I read a tragic story in the paper about a Kent County Car Accident in which four people were injured, two Grand Rapids residents and two Ravenna nuns on August 2nd in Grand Rapids. According to Police, the nuns were driving north on 24th Avenue when they allegedly pulled out in front of a car driven by a 21-year-old Grand Rapids resident travelling on Cleveland Avenue.

Both nuns and both Grand Rapids residents suffered serious injuries and were rushed to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital, where they are in critical but stable condition. Police continue to investigate this accident.
